What we collect
- Account data — your email address and sign-in records.
- Your content — the conversations you have inside Rodspan, and the memory cards extracted from them.
- Usage events — records of account activity (chat turns, imports, extraction runs) used for quotas and debugging.
How we use it
To run Rodspan for you: storing your conversations, extracting and recalling memory cards, keeping your account working, and metering usage. We do not sell personal data, and there are no ads.
AI processing and your key
When you chat, and when extraction runs, conversation content is processed by the model provider behind your API key — Anthropic, or a provider reached through OpenRouter. We do not train AI models on your content. For Anthropic keys, Anthropic's API data-usage policy governs that traffic; whichever provider your key belongs to, your agreement with them applies.
How your data is stored
Your API keys are encrypted at rest at the application layer before they reach the database, with the encryption key held server-side by Rodspan. Traffic between your browser and Rodspan uses TLS. Conversations and memory cards are stored on the hosted infrastructure listed below, and Rodspan's servers process that content to run extraction and recall.
Subprocessors
Rodspan runs on:
- Supabase — database and authentication. United States (AWS us-east-1).
- Fly.io — application hosting. United States (Ashburn, Virginia).
- Paddle — payments, as merchant of record.
- Sentry — error monitoring. United States.
- Anthropic or OpenRouter — model inference, under your key.
Your rights
Export your memory as plain markdown files at any time, and edit or delete individual cards in the product. For account deletion, email us: your account and its content are removed from the live database.
